You'll need to replace the complete hose I'm afraid.

It's the threaded nut which sit inside the hose which start to spin on itself so you can't close the valve completely. You might try pinching the nut on the hose with pliers when trying to tighten the bleeder.

        Good luck!

It wouldn't close right and just started to spin and not tighten so i took the screw out and there was no thread on it.

I have a hose you can have if you like, it has been cut though but the bleed valve section is still in tact. Maybe you can butcher it and get the part you need..

              Let me know.

                    Oh dear, sorry Lee!
If the thread is stuck in and you wat to use the car, cover it in sikaflex. I had one similar, held it until I got a new hose!

Or its a good excuse for some samco's!

Cheers but it's not the matrix that i need just the hose with the bleed valve, well just the screw really

Went to audi today and you have to buy the full hose for £36+vat. I'm going to look foe a metal screw with the same size thread and put a little gasket on it if the one i'm getting doesn't work

                              Hi guys,

I have the same problem as OP. Do any one know the dimension of the treads on this screw?

The treads in the hose seems to be OK but since the screw decided to "pop out" on the highway I cant use it to find a replace screw.

                              Kind regards,
                              Johan Andersson
