I've looked at my drier and its got a plastic bracket jubilee clipped to it. It unbolts from the car.
I didn't manage to get a picture but can if you want?

Yeah there was a plastic bracket available for the 7A but its NLA now, and I'm not sure the drier fitted in exactly the same place as the hoses & pipes are different. I've got all ABY gear to go on mine

ABY-specific part 895 260 759 A seems to be extremely rare. You even can't find an image of it in the internet.

There is a very wide-spread plastic bracket 8A0 260 197 A. It has been fitted to lots of audi 80 B4/ Coupe since '92 model year. And it seems to fit 3B setup.

I have a B3/early coupe drier bracket 893 820 197. It is of steel. I can make a photo, if needed.

Funny, my 1991 CQ has a metal bracket but on the inside of the front rail. I'll try to find a pic. Some earlier US CQs had the lines running around the outside as well. I forget if my friend's '90 is this way but I'll look when I get a chance. IIRC, the dryer is still on the inside like my '91 but the ports are different.

Ignore the mess; you can see the dryer just under the turbo. I ended up pulling it.
