Air con leak

Hi guys,

I left the S2 up the other day to get the air con re-gassed. It hasn't worked in my time owning it (about a year and a half).

The chap said that he couldn't get any pressure into the system and that there must be a pretty big leak somewhere.

Any idea where the leak is likely to be? What would the best way be to fix it, will the pipes need to be replaced?

i had mine regaseed about month ago (after 4 years without gas). I had to replace condesor and all hose seals
they could put some color gas in so you could spot where it leaks ...

the pipe you can see in the o/s wheel arch will more than likely have a big hole in it.

I had mine re-gassed 3 years ago after a slight leak they are easy to trace they gas them and put a dye in this traces the leak if they are a decent company they should track it ok?

I knew about the dye and was expecting them to tell me where the leak was, but they couldn't get any pressure in the system at all to get the dye in! The machine was saying to check that it was actually connected to the car lol.
