  • Coding New Climate Control Unit in VAGcom

Can anyone help me learn about coding an item in vagcom?
I have a new climate control unit I want to code, but not sure what I need to code it to - how do I find that out?

I saw Si posted here about coding a CCU, and 00051 sounds like it should be the right code but not sure where this info comes from?

    Cheers

Are you using the H suffix controler?

Not at the moment, I currently have a C4 unit but the new one is the A4 "H" suffix unit.

I searched on here already - no luck yet - sure it was discussed at length before. I can dig out the factory info for climate coding but 00051 does sound familiar - needs to be for RHD and the compressor without speed signal. Did you keep the compressor from manual aircon - Zexel right ?!?

A4 H suffix coded 41 I think (will check in the morning) is what I have.
Works perfectly but returns a fault code for coolant temperature sensor not being connected as there is not one on the s2.
Dose not effect the operation of system at all
