Before charging up the air-con I started swapping o-rings, but have a problem. Item 3, compressor end nut is too big?

R12 is much more potent, it eats up the R134a system from the inside. While at the same time, R12 system can easily hold R134a, you just need to swap the AC compressor oil and the dryer can (sometimes even hoses, depends on the manufacturer). Also the refill fittings differ, but there are plenty of adapter kits floating around.

I'd like to think that my '92 S4 had a stickter that said something along the lines of "converted to R134A" in which case compressor should be R134A Why can't it just be easy?'93 Audi 100 Avant - R.I.P
