3B vs AAN hose MAF <-> Turbo

in the process of assembling a 91' ACOQ 3B,
missing the hose (034133357AB) between MAF and turbo but have a AAN hose (034133357S), is it ok to use ?
If any, what adaptions needed ?

My RS2 uses a 3B MAF Hose as part of the MTM conversion. Yes they fit you will need to alter the PCV connection a little and move the N75 but that's not hard.

I think the AAN hose is different length, ABY hose would work. I prefer the 3B hose because the DV blows straight back into the mouth of the turbo, just a bit tighter behind the headlight.

I didn't realise the AAN hose was a different length, I assumed (wrongly) it was the same as an ABY.

Wonder if MTM use a 3B hose on their conversions for the reason you mention John? Always puzzled me why they did it.

Well I did say I “think” cos I thought the airbox was further away..
Looking at this pic I’m not so sure, ETKA/7Zap would confirm.

Yep, it's very difficult to be certain from a pic, that hose look's slightly different to both ABY and 3B hose's, but without actually having them side by side it's hard to be sure. Length wise it looks okay though.
