The pattern in those pics doesn't look like real carbon - well, not the bling 2x2 twill that most people recognise anyway.

Quick update... pics to follow, but my phone/camera is charging...
Firstly a correction - the S2 MAF does fit in the RS2 airbox - no probs at all.
Secondly the upper part of S2 airbox does clamp onto RS2 lower portion - no probs either. I did this to use the same MAF for some back to back tests later this weekend. The RS2 upper is slightly taller.
The diameter of S2 airbox trumpet aperture is ~60mm wide, but the RS2 one is ~90mm - a mahoosive difference.
I removed the S2 nozzle surround trim from behind the headlight (8A0 805 962F) - I might modify it to take the RS2 nozzle... or pickup the RS2 version if the price isn't ridiculous.
What I did notice was the the air guide / scoop beside the headlight (893805985) - sits just behind main bonnet grill is very narrow because the auxrad takes up so much space... WIth it removed like on my car, there is definitely potential there to fashion a much larger scoop that would steer fresh air behind the headlight and into the airbox.Paul Nugent

OK then ... family album to the rescue... That silly scoop beside the headlight (893805985) is common to RS2, Cabrio and all sorts of things.
I think the right RS2 airbox nozzle guide is 8A0805962G - looks about 7 quidPaul Nugent

Good man... Think I'll go shopping for some light alloy plate and see if I can fashion some form of supascoop to team up with the new nozzle guide !Paul Nugent
