does anyone have mad experiences with the different solutions? I plan to use the K&N41-1400, because i guess it will give the best flow in combination with the cleaning effect. But with 46cm length it is surely a task to find a proper pace for that monster.

Got one of these if you need to relocate the filter

Thanks I've seen one of those on here for sale, i was hoping to go for a filter that will go straight onto the 100mm inlet. Not sure about exhaust temperatures creating warm air though !

That thing is rubbish, I bought one. It's only about 2" just before the turn and then has a flare to the 4"

It tapers in size from the MAF outlet all the way to the bottom, turns then flares to a 4"

It is highly restrictive and I had to remove it as it was strangling my 3076r

Do you have a MAF? as you can't do that with a MAF setup.

Look at my thread about filter setups for ideas

What about moving the maf to the pressure side?

*sits back and awaits prj to beat you with a big stick*

In all honestly it depends on who is mapping it and what they advise

                    I won't be using a MAF with my set-up.
