Download IRFANVIEW its a free photo program, or mail the pic to yourself using the insert image option, say yes when the program offers to make the image smaller.
If you have XP I think it comes with a photo editor?
Oh and BTW, know has a k and a w .. -

Yep, looks like the pipe that goes into the ECU to me.Comment

I think is better to find ECU and track from there the pipe, its more a hose small black, exterior tissue... like that in your picture. This is just to avoid cutting teh vacum hose that is used to look and unlook doors and so.Originally posted by stevieyidThanks newsh for reducing the pic. so this is definatly the pipe i need to put the t piece in? thanks for your helpComment

Right i have linked the boost gauge upp to the hose in the pic. On idle it sits at about -20 is this correct? It boosts all the way off the scale of 20psi is this correct? All i got to do now is mount it in the centre vent and wire it up for some light. thanks for your help3'' Longlife Exhaust, Koni Adjustables, H&R Springs, Full RS2 Setup with Mr Nugents RS2 Chips

Mine is running standard hardware and a standard map. It boosts to around 1 bar (around 14.5 PSI) under normal acceleration in 3rd gear and above. It boosts to 1.15 bar (just under 17 PSI) for over boost and then drops back.
At tick over it runs between -0.6 and -0.8 Bar.
Hope this helps.

The S2 is a metric animal. Get a firkin boost guage in the right currency. It is 2005 after all. A chipped S2 is gonna hit 1.3-1.5bar boost. That equates to 21psi maximum boost as has been discussed.
The conversion factor of 14.5psi to 1bar is bang on
I don't understand how you are seeing -20psi (vacuum) on idle - that is roughly double the norm here.
You want a guage in BAR with a dynamic range of 3bar: thats from -1bar (vacuum) to +2bar (boost).
Other guages in psi, inHG, mmHg and other wacky variants can just hurt your head...

Minus 20 psi does not exist, there is only 1 Bar in that direction, must be inches of mercury? That would be about -10lbs or 2/3 of a Bar of vacuum.

. thanks for your help though
