    boost gauge in centre vent

I need some advice on how to fit a boost gauge in the centre air vent of my S2. I need some options, just wondered what everyone else has done, and how it looks.

    Cheers

Another option is to use a bit of aluminium cut/bent/shaped sprayed matt black, to replace the centre vent and fit the boost gauge into that.

IMO it looks a little more "finished" than the cut up vent version.

if you're running the pipe into the back of the centre vent then i dont think you can as you can't bend it early enough to clear the flap which cuts off the flow

LOL, it was a kind of retorical (sp?) question really. I was being daft, I keep meaning to take it out and bung the vent up with something really as I hate hot air blowing in my face in winter and the stupid people at Audi didn't keep the "fresh air always to the centre vent" feature of the earlier quattros. Mind you, if I can get the AC working it might be nice in summer.. so maybe a right angle connector, or a little nick out of the flap to allow it to close

If you use a shorter electronic gauge instead of the mechanical type the vent still works.
