Right ive blown all my bulbs in my switches and heater controls so ive taken the bulbs out and taken off the red plastic off the back of the heater controls so that will light up blue, also on the back of every button is a red bit of plastic that comes out,but now heres a bummer the headlight height variable resistor is red and i had it apart tday and its encased in red plactic,so might leave that red, also on my heated rear button the bulbs are soldered in place they dont push in,the rest are push in bulbs i will get pics tmorro on my dinner.next is to work out the elecy windows there comin apart tmorro too.

ok, a tip for free (yes im drunk). turn the leds upside down, so the will emit light trough their A S S. if you turn them the "right way" the will "shine" way too much any the will be killing you eyes by night. if you do like i said the will be so easier to solder. put the resistor to the side, where the 3 pins are. there is a "wire" already there, change it with a resistor and you are in business.

Emailed the Germans few days ago, Have not heard back from them yet.
If there is no reply by lunch time i might give them another call.
They have stared making the gauges though as i payed them the deposit and there last email confirmed that they would start the "production" processes.

Ill post me news when i know.
              Cheers.

                          I found this also,

                          The solution is quite simple.
Cut both the primary bulb connectors about 1 cm from the circuit board or just below the line where they clamp on the the bulb wires.
Then get one LED and turn it upside down. This will stop it from glowing to brightly.
However try to adjust it so that it has the same distance from the front of the switch as the other LEDs, Otherwise that switch will light up dimmer than the others. (I didnt do this as you can see in the image and will need to replace it with a new LED so that its closer to the cover of the switch.)
Next cut one of the wires on the LED, Cut the one that leads to the main section inside the LED. then attach the resistor (See image).

Then use some electrical tubing to cover the cables so that they don't short out. (Again see image.) Then ressemble and your done.

I am going to do the adjustable switches tonight, They need a bit of soldering as they will probably need to LED's to over power the red plastic.
                          Will pics pics later..
                          Cheers.

Sorry i forgot t add that you will need to drill out the inside of the switch where the LED is located, (This is only if the ones you are using are bigger than the bulb) Otherwise it will not fit. (This only takes about 1 minute.) You only need to drill the very bottom so that the chamber that holds the original bulb falls out.

                          Thanks.
