Sorry guys for not posting for so long, Its been seriously busy at work (were so under staffed it takes the pi**)so i have not had a lot of time to do more important things like sorting this out ..


Here are the current news.

racing24de are still working on getting a sample made up, however they are being a bit slack about it witch is dentally not the German way

I i have not had confirmation by tomorrow lunch time regarding production date i will point our business directly to www.innoparts.de who are responsible for production anyway...
They have a phone number on there website so ill give them a call

With a bit of luck and general 'in we can get them to whip us up the sets of gage faces, the good thing is that we don't have to go through this whole mallaga again because we have a scan (Thanx to S2_avant) and we know how we want the gauges customized.
i will also ask about having Km/h in a smaller font and dim with out illumination ... after all we don't want our dashes looking like the next generation of christmas tree decorations.

Hello Everyone.

I have an Update –

I have been in contact with Innoparts (The Manufacture of the plasma gauge faces) and they have confirmed that our MPH project is well on the way.

We will still be buying through Racing24de as they are distributors for Innoparts.

There are some good news and some decision to make.

If we want to S2 Logo on the RPM counter I will need to order a minimum of 50 sets of the main faces.
If we are happy with the “Innoparts” Logo
There is only a minimum of 20 – to attract the special price.

The reason for this as they have explained to me is that the S2 Logo is no longer being manufactured and they would have the make a special batch just for us, hence minimum of 50.

If we agree to just have 20 with there Logo and 20 of the aux gauges I can get a very good price of about £80 (inc delivery)for the whole set. (main and aux)

If we decide to go for the S2 Logo the price will be around £110 for the whole set as they are more expensive dude to them being specially made.
(Also I will be left with about 30 sets that have not been spoken for yet.)


Please let me know what everyone wants to do.

I will send out PM’S soon with payment info etc.

We need to make a decision soon, as they are now just waiting for the go-ahead and deposit.

Even though i'm not part of the buy, wouldn't it be better to get the Set with the S2 logo and then if you have future sales you can sell the S2 logo'd dials?

For £30 which is £1 per dial i would have thought it's a sound investment.

Hi Bo,

I'm still up for the buy but would prefer the S2 logo. Again, it needs to be what the majority want though which is fine by me! Both sets required, 180 extension, mph and looks like most want kmh which is ok also.

I'm cool with or without just need them as another bulb has gone and I canna see all of the speedo at night (which is when I do most of my driving). But I came up with a small solutuion of buying *** ****R magazine which had a light thingy in it. Pointed it a t the speedo and wedged it in some where and I can now see how fast I am going. I can't be bothered to take the dash out only to do it again in about a months time to fit these.

if we cant have the s2 logo (which im not fussed about), i'd rather have no logo at all...thats just my opinion - not too sure about "innoparts" staring me in the face everytime i look at the tacho. surely its easier for them to make without a logo?

Sorry of I missed the answer before but do we know if the gauge faces just clip in place and are held by the bezels (i.e are removable) or are they stick on and thus it would not be possible to remove them without damaging the underlying original face?

If they are not stuck on and are removable I'd be interested in a set either with or without S2 logo, preferably to 160 mph. (If any are unspoken for).
