Just a thought with regards to the s2 decals on the gauges. Im just getting some made at the moment to put on my calipers how about getting some made to put on the dials?

Im going to give them another call tomorrow.

Here is the update.

If they agree to do 20 sets with out any logo then we can go for that. Its a bit cheaper for everyone and i will not be left with 30 spare sets .

If they cant do that then we will go for the S2 logo on the Rev counter.
This will mean that i will buy 50 sets plus 20 sets of the aux gauge faces.

When i speak to them tomorrow lunchtime i will also ask about MPH and KMPH.
Plan is to have MPH illuminated and KMPH not illuminated.

Sorry guys for the long wait.

It will be well worth it though.

hmm 17 pages of cool talking, but anyone mentioned that to remove the old gauge faces you need to remove the needle? on some models it cant be done nicely (glued). Did anyone mentioned that, to remove the aux gauge faces and needle you have to cut the plastic box in some models (the one with white tubular box), because it is sealed and the glass doesent come off? I hope someone will prove me wrong.

I have just spoken with a guy form racing24de.

Its all on they way with steady progression.

I will transfer a 500euro deposit beginning of next week and we should be looking to receive the product by some time April.

This puts us above the 20 threshold so we will go for the gauge faces with S2 Logo…

The guy I spoke to said that it would not be possible to buy them with out any logo as they would then need to be specially made with out logo just like the sets with the s2 logo.

I have also sorted out the MPH and KMPH markings.
Here is how it will be.

MPH with me marked like images, with red line markings at 30mph and 70mph to show those two feeble speed limits.

KMPH will be also be marked but in a slightly smaller font and it will not illuminate like the other markings.
This is the only way to have both. Otherwise the dash would just be a glowing blue ring.

Speed extension will be to 180MPH/ 300KMPH (this will not require recalibration of the S2 Speedo cluster)

If any one is seriously unhappy with this decision please post here or pm me ASAP, however it is very hard to find something that everyone will agree on so this is the current plan.

There will be around 25 – 30 spare sets of the main gauge faces that I will have for private sale until they are gone.

However if other people want the aux faces after the initial group buy is completed they will have to purchase these separately form racing24de as I don’t have founds to buy loads of these spare as well.

I hope this is good news for everyone.

Ill keep you up to date as usual and will send pms with payment info in the next week.

Payment will not be required until i actually pay them for the whole consignment.

Are they going to come with a s2 logo or not? Also, is there some other logo you are mentioning as well?

Sorry, i didn't make myself very clear.

Yes they are coming with the S2 Logo on the Rev counter like the one featured earlier in the thread.

The option was:

Innoparts Logo Like this one (Please note this image is taken form a BMW face its just to show what the logo looks like.):

Or the S2 Logo.

Luckily not many people liked the idea of the Innoparts Logo therefore we are now going with S2 Logo.
