Change them to whatever colour you like. It's only the back of the dial faces that are coloured. The red 'doms covering the bulbs for the computer give it its colour.SS -
Hello.
Racing24de are now in the process of making our gauges.
They should have some detailed images sometime next week.
Will drop it on here as soon at they come in.
It wont be long now guys.
Cheers.

Just got the Blue LED's in the mail for the switch and trip conversion...
May as well get this over an done with so that when the Sample Gauge faces are ready i can post what a complete blue conversion would look like.
Plan is to change all switches inc:
fog lights
ABS
heated seats? (Is the adjuster illuminated? my heated seats are broken and the switch does not light up)
light level
Diff lock
windows
trip display
lights on dash i.e. hand break
etc..
This is a monster job as all wiring will have to include the resisters to take the voltage down to appropriate levels, also each switch will have to have the orange plastic insert removed.
All in all im guessing its a good few hours work.
What a way to spend a saturday
I bought a 100 blue leds and resisters, loads of cabling and some other fnacy ultra bright LED's (Might use that for the Trip display, as its flat and has a better light dispersion.) also got some stupidly miniature totally impratical ones, dont think i will be using them thous as they are just a PITA.
If it all works and looks good i would estimate for a whole kit to do all bulbs to cost about £5.. cheap as chips
..
will let you know how i get on.
Ta.

Yeh, Its defiantly not going to be like a walk in the park... But it has to be done so that we can see if it works visually and physically. Im sure it would look nice in your CQ20 Aaron
.
And yes, i will be offering these kits along side the gauge faces if any one is interested...91 S2 coupé - RIP

Will do john, no problem.

well i got the LEDs to work, Tried one with out resistor first. That flashed up and then burnt to death instantly
.
Its a real PITA to connect the resistors and the LED in to the bulb fitting.
Make sure when you do this you have a huge amount of 15amp fuses as they are going to be dropping like flies
Its so easy to short the connector inside the bulb fitting...
Anyway, its back to the drawing board to try and come up with a better solution
Cheers..

For your switches, heater controls, ashtray, cig lighter, rear ashtray, then see here. They are a tight fit in the switches, but they do fit. Some will find in the later S2's that some of the switches (heated rear screen and hazards) already have led's inside.Originally posted by s2_boWill do john, no problem.

For the difflock, use the above again, but this time you'll have to bend down the legs and solder them to the switches PCB, may even have to lengthen two of them. Fiddly one to do the difflock switch.
Expensive, but then if thats what you want
