Ok, here are some more pics of the Boost gauges available.

            Price is ÂŁ26 inc delivery
Oil/fuel pressure gauges (10bar) also available at ÂŁ30

These gauges dim when the head lights are turned on. (This is however optional)

The Ring round the gauge does not illuminated, that blue glow is just the reflection.

Hmm, looks nice in the dark.. Tempted..

I did the bulbs in some of my switches today, took the red filters out and they're way too bright, drove to Brighton and back tonight and they're in the corner of your eye all the time.
Bo, how did you do the headlight adjuster? I had a look inside the switch and its not that easy to get to the bulb (which is blown anyway)

                    Hi John,

Sounds good, but i also agree that they are to bright if you just replace the bulbs for leds.

When i did my switches i didnt have any LED's with built in resistors so i soldiered in my own in to each switch and turned the LEDs upside down so that they were shining out of there A** This makes them a lot dimer.

The Light Level and Heated seat ones were not that easy, Had to take strip the switches down. Cut out a section of the red plastic and solder in a reversed LED and resistor. ( took over an hour per switch so quite a mission. )

Sorry i lost all my pics when my harddrive died so can even post you any to give you tips.

Thanks for that Bo, I had a look at the Light Level switch again and managed to get it apart, took the red plastic bit off by heating the bits that go through the board till they pulled out with a lighter (after breaking the first one off..) used one of the leds I got from you but removed from its case and cut away some of the plastic to clear it. At one point I lost the little ballbearing somewhere in the car and managed to find it again, whats the chances of that The other ones that were too bright I've put the red screens back in, or dimmed them with paper, I'll have a look when its dark to see if they work.

LOL.. funny that, i was going to warn you about that little baring. I ended up losing the one in my switch too and had to make a new one out of a bit of solder, Worked fine but the rotation feels slightly different.

                        Hope they look ok tonight

                        Cheers.

                              Might help someone in the future;
Some pictures and an explaination of the seat heater switch break down and bulb replacement with an LED in the attached PDF file.
Can't remember where it came from, and although it shows the urS4/S6 switch, I think they are pretty similar.

Edit; File attachments still aren't working on here, so it's available in my yahoo briefcase instead, >> Here

HTH's someone in the future, that ball bearing is a PITA.
