    Rear View Mirror

My rear view mirror came off in my hand the other day when I was driving.

I put it back on with sticky pads but it was just shaking all the way along the road.

What is the best way of placing the mirror back on again?

I was thinking of trying some super glue or araldite as these should hold it in place.

You can buy the special glue in a tiny pack, there's a glue part and an activator, IIRC you paint one part on the mirror and one part on the window then put them together, its the only thing that really works, I think you can probably get it from Halfrauds.

You can buy the correct stuff from a dealer for not very much at all and once its on, it def wont come off again!
I would def go for the genuine stuff

Thanks for the advice. I will nip to halfords tomorrow and get it.

Bit of a nightmare trying to drive the car like it was a van.

Exactly the same thing happened yesterday and i stuck it back on with sticky pad and it vibrates every where.

Where do you get the the wire mesh from to stick back on?
