    Recovering front seats????

The bolster on the exit side of my driver seat is starting to crack. Is there something I can do too keep this from getting any worse or must I have it recovered and hope the shop who does the job can match the color with the rest of the interior? Platinum Gray is the color.
BTW did Audi vat dye the leather or sprayed the color on on these seats?

    Hi Panzerwagen

I had exactly the same problem with teh exit bolster on my drivers seat...plus foam was starting to lose shape!

I took it to a professional car upholstering company locally and they did a great job with it...
They ended up removing some material from a hidden part of the seat and re upholstering the side bolster with this
THen they used a very near match for the hidden part....I couldnt tell the difference really.

im reliably told the black S2 seat material is near impossible to get.....

Anyway, they re did the passenger side while they were at it and made a pukka job it ...though it cost more than I was hoping for ~ £150 but it looks like new near enough now.
