The answer is here in the thread, all recarros tilt. Actually that doesn't answer the question really does it, just a statement of fact..

All recaro's tilt? No they don't, maybe for the S2 factory option but i have a set of non tilting recaro's in my Avant and Golf.

I was under the impression that recaros fitted to S2s and the RS2 tilted, sorry if Im wrong.
