How should it look ? What is corrrect ?

This is on the right side in the luggage compartment in my audi s2 avant.
I took away the container for the wiper fluid. Under the container when i push down you can to the ground.
Is that the way it should be ?

No, there should be metal between you and the ground!

As above, metal underneath. The only other part in that area is some flaps on the side behind the bumper for a vent.
