Sparco seats in S2 3B

Anyone fitted Sparco seats in their S2 (3b) ? A lot of work or easy to do?
Or is the Recaro -or- Corbeau the way to go? Since they have frame(s) for our cars?

Just wondering because I only have some non-s2 seats from another car in bad condition.
Was driving around with my new setup and the stock seats doesnt feel that good.

Recaro frames are (or were) available for our cars. There is also a Recaro frame of the Golf which can be modified to fit from memory. I used the bases of some old coupe seats. Cut the base off the seat and welded a simple frame on top to suit the Recaro Speed seat. This option gives you standard front to rear seat adjustment for leg room. The Recaro Speed seat also has the mechanism to fold the back of the seat forwards to allow passengers to get in the rear. One thing to take into account is the height of the seat once fitted. You need to get the seat pretty low if your planning to track your car and wear a helmet. Worse on the sunroof model as the headlining sits lower.

I cut the rear legs off my Recaro frames shortened them and re-welded them on. This was to fit Mitsubishi Evo 8 Recaro seats in my 3B. I'm 185cm, and they;re perfect now.

Find a pair of electric Recaros from a late cabriolet

Are they better? Tilt? Feels like my legs is hugging the steering wheel aswell. Hard to have any active driving with how it is right now

I am 6'2" and have the recaro. Took a while to get them set right for me but now they are super comfy. Just getting hard to find.

I bought a set of Mk3 Golf Recaro frames. The rear legs had to be shortened which is a bit of a job but they now fit perfectly. The Recaro part numbers are 85.78.17 & 85.78.27
