S2 Recaro seat option

There is a black metallic S2 Avant for sale on the auto trader website. This car has recaro seats with the usual S2 cloth in black which makes me think they are original factory recaros. About 12 months ago i saw a green S2 Avant which had the same style of seat exactly but in grey but these seats are so rare that i am not sure whether they are factory or not. I guess they could have been factory but so dear that no one bought them - hence the rarity.

Given the abpve if they were a factory seat has anyone ever seen a set for sale second hand?

As my car has a blue interior i was wondering if anyone has ever seen any blue S2 seat fabric for sale as i must admit i never have

yep, know the car you mean saw it online over the weekend. Those seats are fantastic and in 7 years of owning mine I have never seen them in any S2 yet alone for sale one the bay etc. I wonder if they are an option code that appears on the data sticker???

As for a blue cloth interior, never seen one before though seen some interesting leather colours

No doubt a factory option. Must have been expensive though!

I have a dark blue cloth interior in my car and I'd love to get a pair of those Recaros in blue.. Fat chance I reckon I've never seen any blue cloth for sale either, if you find some I'll go halves with you for recovering

no i meant , if some of the seat trims got burned with cigared and some one wants to change this piece of cloth , does any interior shop have replica for it?

Worth a mention that a few Cabby's got factory recaro seats in them too. My dad has one in SA and it has a set in grey leather, electric tilt,the lot! Lovely seats even in a cabby

They were retrimmed to match the interior.

The previous owner Tekkno managed to get hold of blue quattro cloth ( how I don't know ).
