    Boost gauge ideas

Has anyone seen these boost gauge fitting ideas?
I think the circular looks ok but best would be the square gauge fitted into some switch blanks within the dashboard (can someone compare the square gauge dimensions compared to the Audi switch blank sizes for me?).

Also saw this idea but don't fancy it.

Keep thinking about adding a boost gauge, but with the flip put screen for the sat nav the usual places of the centre vents or switches are out because the screen blocks them. Could go down the digital route but call me old fashioned much prefer seeing a needle moving.

I think that this would be the most unobtrusive, subtle way to go for a boost gauge.

Just kidding I honestly think that this is the best idea available, hopefully someon on here could tell us if it would work or could be made to work on an S2.

I looked into this last year and was not the first. I even bought a standard IL5 black tacho to practice on, but very quickly I came to the conclusion that hand cutting all the holes into a very expensive S2 white face (even if I had first practiced on the standard black face), whould be too difficult. One mistake and it would look nasty and would ruin a valuable face

Also, this for the S4, it is not available for the S2 and is damn expensive there are a couple of other places that offer this in kit form (meaning you do not have to buy the S4 tacho face) but even though they are cheaper, they are still damn expensive. (I was going to get this kit)

Most people therefore conclude that the centre vent works for now, until summut better comes along.

              Cheers n

I have one down on the little shelf under the steering column, can't really be seen from outside, but in plenty view of the driver. Fitted by previous owner, so not sure how easy it was to fire it in there.
