Shows how cheap you can get recaro's on the bay if you don't mind going to get them/collect them and have them re-trimmed. (btw seats in the xr2 first link are 90 spec rs-turbo items)

Those seats are highly sought after over here...if any of you ever wanted to ship them stateside I'm sure you could make a killing!

The RS2 style Recaro (and those simlar ones posted in this thread) - as all North American bound B3/B4 Audis only came with the standard sport seat found most non-S Audis. Most folks who do S2 conversions (or track their cars) drool over the seats. I wouldn't mind having a set...but then I'd be forced to go find another quattro as to put them in a FWD would seem silly!

These were the seats we received in all of our B3/B4 chassis cars (which are marginally better than the non-sport version). They either came in leather or jacquard satin.

Not sure what the shipping costs of something like this would be to send across to where you are, probably be high i'd have thought.

What about the heater elements? I have all the harness in my car, but i would need to put the elements in. Where to get them?

Well some of the US folks are crazy enough to import front & rear bumpers, full S2 ABY engines, 6-speed trannies...so what's a seat (or two)?

I'm sure the biggest deal for most American is the pound to dollar conversion...the Euro isn't as bad, but most Europeans don't want to deal with Americans and if they do it's only for smaller parts. Oh well, just a ramble/thought!
