I have seen one set on a 2.6 coupe too - IIRC was a £4k option from the factory

make sense that alex, the seat squab cover was £560 +vat when i enquired...that didnt even include the thigh bolster or the pull out extension NLA too IIRC

yep likewise....did know of a set a few months back but the guy was asking silly money so didnt persue it

Think Greg had one of those in his S2 for a while, forget the version of Recaro but OEM in a load of Audi's, mainly A6/A3 though

Yeah I have the Recaro Style seat in front of mine which pretty well matches the grey jacquard trim. Very supportive, but not enough headroom for me really

Sorry about small and poor quality picture. Just bought on E-bay Recarop Classic C (in cloth) seat
Will noo doubt need someone to re-trim in leather now. Any suggestions who might do this - want good quality and best price.

got a set of Recaro's in the loft but funding probs means thats where they are dstined to stay for the moment I think

It is possible. Very comfy. Don't bother if you're much taller than 6'.

Driver's seat rubs against the lower centre console if moved backwards/forwards, but that's not an issue for me, as I'm the only driver. This was intentional so that the seat wasn't at an angle with the steering wheel. Passenger side doesn't rub against the lower centre console. Bases were made from the outgoing S2 front seats. Gutted they don't have heating elements though I thought that they did.
