mk2 golf ones are relatively easy to come by but are different to the s2 ones in design and subframe fitment. Corrado ones will fit in the mk2 but the seat will be slightly lower.
s2 ones do crop up from time to time and still reach very good money, imo too much money. There are better, more comfortable and supportive seats around for far less money, however for the oem+ look you cant beat them. Might also be worth mentioning if you want a heated set or not
Good luck

Thanks for the tips.... I know about the Corrado ones but they sit too low and I really would like OEM ones for both... I saw that you have fitted some porsche seats to yours...
The Golf Is in getting a full respray at the mo....
Dest,
I have thought of that too but I would still like to keep it OEM spec...
i have seen rs2 seats in cream as an extra in a v6 coupe looked very nice.

Hard to find in cream, jas11n has been looking for a while, there's a pair in platinum in the lock up next to me but not sure what the guy's plans for them are.

Pete, if he is selling 'em I would be interested....
a lot of the weight is the height adjustment subframe, you could bin that and drill a few speed holes in the base, they'd each be about 6-8 kg lighter I think
