Dan, I've done this myself in the past. I can't really offer much in the way of tips or advice. All I did was use feed the bolt in using the allen key and move it around slightly until it aligned with the clamp.

Oh and you might find that you are not getting the bolt to thread because you are turning the it clockwise which in effect is counter clockwise since the bolt is inverted.
I've certainly made this mistake before at any rate.

    HTH.

hi everyone can you help me please? how to remove passenger door card

can anyone tell me how to remove my front passenger door card, as i think the window has dropped and this is allowing rain to seap into the rear passenger foot well which is not ideal!!! any help would be much appreciated cheers lads. Also can anyone recommend a good air induction solution to the standard one, and could you recommend a supplier????

Once you have undone these, the handle can be removed, then the big brass phillips underneath can be undone then you are there. Any other fixings are obvious

Just remembered the one on the inner door handle, you have to pull the handle then you can get at that screw. IIRC the whole door card slides upwards to remove, haven't done it for a while Or taken off a door card

There's a BTDT on the forum, you should do it with window down as it makes it easier.

Don't undo the 4mm allen keys too much!

It's quite easy once you get used to it.

Yeah thought there was but couldn't find it myself so thought i would stick the pics on again, and yeah the 4mm allen bolts stay in the handle. Its kinda a pinch bolt arrangement.
