Is it possible to get the front seats an inch or two lower?

Hi,

The ONE niggle with my S2 avant is the lack of headroom in the front. I'd love the front seats to be an inch or two lower when at their lowest setting. If the car didn't have a sunroof, it would be fine. So, does an S2 avant without a sunroof exist, or is there a mod I can do the the front seats?

Help... what do other tall S2 owners do?

Ah the old tilted head in the sunroof gap whilst driving, im not that tall tbh but i find it really anoying, I personally will probably ditch the seats and look for some non heated seas as thats what the clearance issue is imo!

I have two S2's, one with and one without heated seats and they both have same problem.

Yeah I've got one without a sunroof, I'm 6,4" and I was good with standard seats.

I seem to remember reading somewhere about somebody creating an extra groove for the ratchet to make the seat sit lower, can't remember where though, might be worth sticking your head under to see if that seems like a feasible mod.
