    Boost gauge options...?

Time to fit a boost gauge... but not sure what the best approach is. I guess there are various options:
-fit boost gauge in place of voltage gauge
-fit boost gauge separately somewhere in sight (e.g. in centre consol vent, in separate mounting pod, etc)
-replace oil temp and pressure with a dual gauge (e.g. something like this - not sure how difficult this would be to do) and put boost gauge in now free'd up hole - has anyone done this?
    Any other thoughts?
    Cheers,
    Ck.

What boost gauge are you going with? Is it the VDO gauge from America as discussed on previous threads? If so then I'd be tempted to fit in a vent in the centre and trim the vent to look 'dashboard like' or something similar with either vinyl or carpet. At least then you can see it which is the whole point. It's also been done lots before and looks good. To fit a combined gauge you'd have to play with the little wiring loom that goes into the centre console which might be time-consuming.

Your gauge is from -1.0 to 1.5 bar? Is this the "recommended" range? [I can find them (most starting at -1.0) in various top readings - 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0 (I wish), etc]

                      but a valid point ntl!

The only one that maters is boost which is why its in line of sight. the others only need a glance every now and then.

Jonas, what's the brand and model of your gauge? I think that's the best looking boost gauge I've seen until now and fits the original look quite nicely. And also has correct measure unit and not any "whisky bottles per slightly sloping square acre on sunny day"-scale

Here´s my setup. Not good place after all, it´s quite impossible to read while driving. I think voltage meter housing would be even worse...

I have mine mounted in the hole where oil was, but I dont look at it when I am driving just check peak boost most of time and when i have time will mount a buzzer and an led into steering binaccle to tell me if it overboosts or over temps
