These screws are very difficult to remove the first time. You need to use the correct pozidrive hex bit and adapter to 3/8 square drive and a ratchet. I'm pretty sure from memory that these are Pozidrive not Phillips but check that the fit is good. Put the hex bit in the head of the bolt and hit it a few times with a hammer straight on. Then put the ratchet on and try to turn it. Make sure you keep the bit straight in the head of the bolt and push hard to stop it slipping out. A 3/8 extension can help.
If all else fails try a decent set of mole grips.
I replaced all these screws with allen head bolts.

Problem with the Mole grips is that some of these screws are partially recessed so its difficult to get the grips on them.
I suspect that the scews are "threadlocked" at the factory so if you have one of those very small gas torches you could try heating the head of the bolt. Tricky with cloth seats!

Its done,i dont know, that only 4 bolts must go out and then back seats are ready to pull over. The outside sides of the seats was just hooked up. Some weight saved and new front seats coming (i hope) what u think? Weight is 7 kg

You can remove the rear seats by just undoing the center allan key bolt.pivot. (still a pain to get at)

What manufacturer are your new seats?

This job is next on my list - I see the pics are missing on this thread - so I will post some. I read on another forum these screws are indeed thread locked so reckon they will put up bit of a fight.
