If you use Silaflex / Tigerseal it's never going anywhere

    Agree with mdz

I did this recently on my grey leather int. Pulled the doorcard, bent off all the pushlocks, then pulled off the leather, removed all the dead foam (messy & boring).

Then used waterproof multi-purpose spray glue to re-glue new foam to leathers, cut and fit edges, door pull openings, then re-glued to doorcard.

Biggest issue was getting the edges to look good and hold. Ended up using some speaker wire to wedge into the groove to hold while the glue set. Also use a bit thicker foam than OEM to ensure you don't get a loose re-fit.

Can't imagine any decent shop would have an issue doing this if I could.

Yes. I thought that as well. Just making sure as one of the guys here suggested screws on various places that they have done before

    Surely 'bond' implies glue?

Doesn't have to be Mike. You could do me a favour and ask him how much it would cost to replace the trims with black alcantara? The current plan would be to get them into a pallette to Greece as I was going to have some stuff shipped anyway and I have a guy there who would do it for me while the car is at Brian's.

If it can be done in the UK of course it saves the hassle

Where are you located by the way? Maybe you could do mine! Haha
I'm far away - in Latvia.
And I'm doing stuff like this mostly in summer when weather is nice because it needs to be done outside.
