Been in touch with Audi for new heated seat elements for my drivers seat but they are NLA for the S2, which alternatives are available? Couldn't find anything on the search, would ones out of an A4 work? any BTDT on this?
I bought a set for the A6 and they are s**t, I could get the seat hotter by farting! I'm just glad I checked them before going to all the trouble of fitting them. I'm now looking for some OE one that will fit as I'm sure the A6 ones are NLA too

I've not used these myself but I'd be cautious about condemming them if you haven't fitted them as they won't appear to get warm if you just turn them on in free space.
Put them between blankets or duvet and see if they get warm then.
Check that they consume the 5 amps they say they do. If they do that's 70 watts which is more than enough to warm even the coldest bum
