Recaro Seat Frames

I'm currently in contact with someone local who has a pair of recaro seats from a sierra cosworth 2 door.

Can anyone give me any advice on seat frames? I would prefer if possible not to butcher my current frames

The coupe frames are NLA from Recaro, but I've heard that the B5 A4 frames are similar if you can find some used ones.

B5 won't fit, they're too wide.

As has been said 101 times... Golf 3 frames are a direct fit with just a little adjustment...

Will B3 Audi 80 ones also fit? We may have a couple that have been broken locally.

If they're genuine Recaro, yes, if they're OE Audi, then the handle is on the wrong side for the ABY.

Cheers Andy, I think I'll start looking for broken MK3 golfs, the guy is only asking 300 euros for the pair of seats, 300!!

Ford Recaro seats are cheaper usually, about €150,- a pair over here. But I guess there is not much available over there.

I have a set of universal Recaro seat sliders for sale, it still requires making a frame with Golf or 80 parts though but it shouldn't be too hard.

Ford Recaros aren't as nice mind. Evo 9 seats in black are about as nice as everyday seats get...

True, only buying them because I am going to have them re-trimmed locally, recaros are much more comfortable than the stock S2 seats!

I've found a set of B3 Audi 80 Frames..still to pick up. How much for the universal sliders?

B3 Recaros frames? What ate the part numbers? The B4 ones have the option of putting the handle on either side, so you should be able to fit them. You need handles off an old seat...

Don't fit frames and sliders if you're taller than 5'6" / 160cm ... LOL

I only found standard B3 frames, not recaro ones, would they be ok? I am about 5'9
