Hello. my avant b4 has suffered from water infiltration.
Water drips that marked point in side passenger drips and also trickles down to the feet. Is dirt on the sunroof pipelines?
Well not *ON* the pipes but *IN* the sunroof drains. (Or there is a hole in the drain hose or it is disconnected). You need to clean them out and/or make sure that they are connected. In the very short term, if you can get the roof dry, you can duct tape over the seal between the sunroof and the avant roof. That will stop the water influx. You can also pull off the A-pillar covers to investigate the hose situation.
A-pillar removal hints (written for a C4 but should be similar for a B4):

Drop the roof lining which is pretty easy and then see where it's leaking.... I've known the metal piping corrode which then let water in and run down the top of the a post trims
