Wow, the leather Recaro buckets only retail at around £1100 each only. I say ONLY after the price you just gave for the original ones! Jeeeez that is mega bucks! Was that trim option the most expensive one then? My mate has that trim fitted in his RS4 and I like them...don't try the RS4 leather Recaro buckets: I did and I fell in love with them!

The RS4 buckets are what this RS4 got at PDI. These seats have never been used.

Apparently we had two RS4's converted to recaro bucket seats, non airbag race steering wheels and full turbo back exhausts for the directors to play with. One of them got converted back as one of the directors in question was too fat for the bucket seats and didn't like the noisy zorst Naming no names of course

The other one stayed converted and the seats, steering wheel and exhaust system have been lying around in storage ever since.

I've got the steering wheel as well but I'm not interested in fitting it as it's the airbag one (airbag not included). The standard RS4 exhaust is still boxed up in storage as far as I know.

As for prices you know what Audi are like at hiking things up on S/RS versions. The material is really strange stuff. It's like a non slip rubbery finish.

Before attacking them though I am waiting for Recaro to come back to me about their A80/S2 seat fitting kits. The seats appear to Recaro Style's and they are attached to the subframe (fitting kit as recaro call it) with four torx bolts. Can't see why they can't be replaced with the A80/S2 version they sell.

I thought about using RS2 subframes but the seat fixings are different.
