    Drilled Ignition

Here is the location of the hole that needs to be drilled to allow you to remove the old barrell

New barrell in and all is well again

At some point in the future, when I can take the car off the road for a few days I will have the new barrell tumbled to fit the origional key. Apparently a two or three day process at a cost of about 45 quid

      Hi,

You can simple use a small 2.5mm bore to hit out the split the connects the D-metal piece to the key cylinder. By doing this you can reuse your old key

It takes around 5 min to get it out. So you will use the new D-metal piece that is not broken and the old key cylinder. You simple change the part that is broken on your picture.
