Anyone changed the colour of their dash lights?

Red doesn't work too well for me, how hard would it be to change? Are they coloured bulbs or is the colour built into the gauge faces? I'm thinking maybe blue or white.

I know that the dials in the instrument binnacle use a clear perspex diffuser which is illuminated by bulbs (not sure of bulb colour but suspect it is white). The dial faces are the main items that give the red colour as they are made up from a multiple layer colour mask process. The only way to change the colour is to remanufacture the dial faces. I can do this (as I am currently tweaking the dials considerably....more of that soon) but a one off would not justify the time and effort for a unique colour. Not sure about the switch gear but I suspect clear bulbs with coloured diffuser.
