I will do some measurements this week and then change my setting to measure the fuel consumption signal.
Do you need any other signal?

I don't think so. Thanks so much.

The pressure of the torque converter clutch.
It’s used to raise the pressure as needed. This is some ZF feature as I understood it. To hold the speed difference between engine and the input shaft constant.

The shift signal is a 10ms long signal. Longer signal will cause a DTC.
Ignition retard is the maximum retarded angle the ECM can do. It’s a fixed value.
The retard is also blocked. Some seconds between each retard.
Found this details in a FR of a newer motronic.

The signals at the end are ok, no neee for modification I think.
But the TCM should be adjusted, I already read the file and found the map table.
I already modified the area to look like a motronic file that the great prj mapfinder works but get some errors cause it finds too much tables I think.
Have to work again on this topic. Nearly 500 tables seems a little bit too much.
But maptable and the table configation seems like motronic. Axle axle table etc.

In the BMW E39 area some external controllers are available to close the torque converter clutch - but nobody seems to have ever modified the TCM eprom. Don’t know why but doesn’t matter. We will do it now. :-)

DSP is no issue you can deactive it via coding.
Eco mode is also possible, only downshift when kick down is activated.

              http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index...nsmission_(01M)

Works for the S6 V8 TCM.

For the TCM I would like to change the "warm up" strategy, cold is shifts very late and clutch is closed at 70km/h, warm at 55km/h.
Both at 45 km/h or something like that would be awesome.

Line pressure is also a good modification, unsure if it's easy to find without "outside" support

The ) is missing in the link.
                  Coding

                  • 000?x: DSP Mode (Dynamic Shift Points)
                    • 0 = DSP active
                    • 1 = DSP inactive
                  • 000x?: Transmission Mode
                    • 0 = Factory Mode (Adaptive Transmission Mode)
                    • 1 = Force Economy Mode (lower Shift Points)
                    • 2 = Force Sport Mode (higher Shift Points)

                  Common Settings:
                  • 00000 = Factory Mode
                  • 00011 = Economy/Touring Mode
                  • 00012 = Sport Mode
                  V8 has the 4HP24A, it's called 018.

Clutch in the torque converter, sometimes it's called bridge or lock-up...
                  https://www.sonnax.com/units/416-zf4hp24
Number 19 is the friction disc.

However for the 4HP24 you can get a lot of parts.

Could you send me a read out of our TCM file?

consuption signal is used for engine torque calc. in TCM

I’m not sure if there is any torque calculation. Will put the emulator on the TCM next week or in 2 weeks.

look on diag, there is input torque, and this torque is calculated from consuption (inj. fuel) and RPM new torque based ecu just sen torque via can to TCM and this old motronic ecu dont use torque internaly

I don't have something called "torque" in the diag. Only load etc.
Or do I understand you wrong?
