What kind of injector and FPR is used for the bigturbo_WMI file?

First - thanks a lot for sharing.
Nice to see that I can continue my work on this ecu after getting stuck with fueling adresses years ago.

There is one question.

I can see

1037cc @ 3.0bar FPR
921cc @ 3.8 bar FPR
898 cc @ 4.0 bar FPR

so I would guess from this: f.e. a 921cc Injector (3bar) with a 3.8 bar RS2 FPR will match this bin (rough / besides latency)

What kind of injector and FPR is used for the bigturbo_WMI file? I guess a Bosch type??

Looks to me like 900CC at 4 bar, that said I wouldn't take it at face value...

Thanks... its just to prove my conclusions. I am comparing your two bins in WINOLS. I used the Bosch EV140280158040 980cc in my old S2 but I was never able to get OEM latency Data for them. So I was wondering about your injectors :-)

...by the way, there is a single difference between the two files at 07ff5 - the only I did not find in the XDF

0x7FF5 is in the code area that XDF will not cover. Quick look without idb, looks like the map switching. 0x88__ or 0xB8__

I can see in OEM RS2 bin and in prj bin at 0x8800 there is code that refers to some tables.

There are 3 differences between OEM and prj

OEM refers to the three map linearization tables

prj refers to new VE table, IAT correction Speed Density and a third new correction map at 0xA180 (rpm x load/6 x 6) that is not in XDF.


This 0X8900 code is in prj mode on a second adress at 0XB800

The differences between 0X8900 and 0XB800 is the reference to either first or second Ignition Table/Fuel Table.

0X8900 and 0XB800 are identical in prj1 and prj2 (high boost) file.

So I think both files support map switching.

I dont get the difference at 07FF3

Thanks Dmitri - I appreciate that. I also moved on. I sold my S2. Bought a R8 V10 and doing MED Stuff on V10 now :-)

I also have to make up my mind with old Motronic because I did most S2 with aftermarked now.

But finally it makes me happy to discover the last 30% of missing infomation about the 2.3.2 after stuck at Stage 1 years ago :-)

But I will test this stuff on a S2 from a friend of mine - just for fun.

Nope, my S2 was running perfect with VEMS. But after 13 years of S2 It was time for something new...
