    Scalars with same nomenclature

    Hello community,

this is my first post. I have a S2 with 3B engine and did a conversion to AAN ECU with this great speed density mod. (Thank you for that prj !)

I am curious about some scalars regarding the LC/NLS code with same nomenclature.
Unfortunatley I do not have the skills to disassemble the code to look for myself yet. So I would need your help.

Can you please tell me why there are two scalars for:

-Launch control IGN retard RPM @ 0x861E vs. 0x8625
-Launch control IGN angle @ 0x8624 vs. 0x862B
-min RPM for NLS @ 0x8636 vs. 0x863D
-IGN angle for NLS @ 0x863C vs. IGN angle for NLS/Spark revlimit @ 0x8643
-Speed for launch control @ 0x8620 vs. Speed for launch control #2 @ 0x7E7C

    Thank you!

    With best regards

It's because there were many different patch versions a.
Open the view by "category", then you will see that the old ones are in a separate "old" folder.

Thank you very much for the explaination and great to see that you come over here from time to time!

In the left upper corner there is drop down menu named "View by:". There you can select parameter "category"

        Best regards

Does anyone have the launch control with fuel cut running? I don't see that the ignition angle is retarded after hitting the respective rpm threshold for the ign.retard (not in requested timing nor in the single output angles for the 5 cylinders)

I have tested it and all parts work perfect, just you need to set correct rpm and ignition angle for every of the thresholds. Consider that all thresholds are connected in code i.e. one threshold eliminates/jumps some part of the code and you will lost that "jumped" functionality.

              Hi d_anev,

glad you are still here after the years

ok, so the thresholds don‘t work as independent as i thought they would…

the point is, i would like to totally avoid the ignition cut (afraid about my ceramic cat.)

Just use fuel cut, and retard the ignition to spin the turbo more. Is that even possible then?

and second question: with the maps in the „old“ folder we do nothing, right?

              BR

We already have a way better thread for this: The parameters of the launch control with stock turbo kkk7000. - S2Forum - The Audi S2 Community

Will post there in the future. The reason fuel cut LC doesn't work is simply: The code for it is there, but never used At least not in the stock_AANABY_27c512.bin
