  • Aerial Amplifier

Can anyone tell me if this could be fitted to an S2 so that I could actually listen to the radio?

I think that this is for the glass type aerials and not for a bee sting antenna. I cant tell without seeing it better.

Yup, thats the new A4 Avant aerial amplifier for glass rear window aerial. No reason why you couldn't fit it. You may have a little bit of fun with the leads etc, but no reason why not!

Yeah, but mine doesn't work for some reason. I get crap reception on all radio stations unless I'm parked next to the transmitter!

Mine's the same, always seems to be something else to fix first. Didn't I read somewhere that you can fit a unit from a Vauxhall at about 1/2 the price?

Still haven't fixed my courtesy light switch

You said it! I've got a boost leak, half my electrics don't work, my ABS doesn't work, I need new front tyres etc etc etc

But I'll try and fix my radio!

Yeah im sure the ones off the corsa or something like that fit.

The aerial base which has the amplifier in regularily overheat etc and break.

                have you tried GSF?

maybe a stupid questinon but, you have connected the aerial amp remote to the headunit, ringt?

Or I might just be lucky with my old '91s, almost too good reception!

I have the same problem and AvantS2 quoted

"The Vauxhall part number is 90389799 which costs £18.66 + VAT. The roof mounting is the same. You will just need to put a different terminal on to match the Audi one. Should save you about £40"

I haven't changed it yet but I really should get the finger out !

                      cheers
