How to get AUX-in on Blaupunkt?

    How to get AUX-in on Blaupunkt?

    After mye Blaupunkt Bremen Mp76 where nicked, I bought my self a Blaupunkt Rome Europe Nav56e.
    I`m trying to get Aux-in to work on this headunit, but can`t get it to work.

    On rear of the headunit there is a port for mini-ISO with Aux, so i bought a adapter to fit this mini-ISO whit AUX-in-output.
    The problem is that I can`t get an AUX-in-symbol at the player = No sound.
    Anyone got some hot tips about getting aux-in on this player?

    Does`nt this player support AUX-in even if it got a output for it?
    Is it something I have to do in order to get sound from an auxilary soundsource?
    Is there a way to change the order of the pins in the mini-ISO so i can get the sound up and running at the car-audio system?
    (Now the pins on the adapter goes to AF-R, AF-L and AF (earth).


    Help please?

    on my ancient Blau Alicante, it was a menu option to turn on the Aux function, maybe yours is the same...

        What are you trying to connect to the radio? If you look on top of the radio you can see what each mini iso is for.

        I'm using the same radio in my Suzuki Swift, and from memory on mini iso plugs is for steering controls, one is for cd-changer/Ipod interface and one is line out for amplifier.

        Anyhow to change to the cd-changer you just have to press source "SRC".

          Are you using the Blaupunkt Rome with Aux in?
          The wiring-schematics is now uploaded as a picture in the first post.
          When I hit "SRC/source", I only got "no CD found".

            Don't see any reference to Aux in.

              Weird if this newer head-unit don`t have AUX-in as a feature right?

                A thanks. But why is there a mini-iso and a adapter to get, that fit for Aux-In if this is`nt an option?

                    Thanks, but BorderS2 already found a link to the original manual.

                    But no help there how to get the Blaupunkt Rome to play music from an auxilary source...

                        On the label of your radio it says changer and not AUX In, so I dont think it has AUX IN. I have just been down in my car and I can't find anywhere in the menu's where I can change it to AUX.

                        Again what are you trying to connect?

                            I get that you are trying to connect AUX In, but is it an Ipod your trying to hook up or what?

                            But I have the same Radio and I as I just said I can't find anything in the menu system on the radio refering to AUX In.

                              Ah, my mistace. I was trying with my LG Optiums One phone as an Aux-source.
                              This adapter I`ve bought goes in at the same place where the changer goes.

                              When you`ve got an changer, is there only a sound-signal you get from this? It that case it should work with Aux-in also..i think
