Ben, did you ever replace your rear door speakers? My tweeters are fubar'd and i would also like to upgrade the woofers as well while i am at it. I have some MB Quart DKE-108's for the front to install when i get time..

anyone using a current head unit off say an A4/A6 (e.g concert cd unit) with the bose speakers/amp in an s2? can it be made to fit, is it worth it? I'm slush when it comes to ICE

I use hertz hks163 i my setup,they are a 3 piece set, tweeter, 4" and 6.5" with a filter to control bass, tweeter and midrange. Think the prise is around 180£

Well I installed the tweeter in the small airvents and the 4" fit perfectly in the org. install.

@Jonas, That's is very nice, but i want to replace the oem speakers in the rear doors and wanted to know what fitted in there as i dont want to start cutting or making custom builds.

Sorry mate, thought you asked about the front speakers and would could be done.
The custom door builds is offcourse the extreme way, but sound should come from the front and not the rear

However the Hertz HKS 163 comes with a 6.5" speaker that properly fits in the rear door? Should be easy to meassure the old unit.

Not got round to sorting out rear door speakers yet. I've got some of the B&O dash tweeters from a new A8 I need to have a play with as well. I'll get round to it at some point
