Thats not to what i'm referring, the spec listed on your site corresponds to the Non Sports suspension specs.

Yes alot less body roll with the RS2 arb, i notice it on roundabouts the difference as the rear is nowhere near as firm as it should be.

Speak to me in 2 weeks about it hopefully, fingers crossed.

The ride is very firm with my H&Rs that's for sure, but I could never go back to the standard float mode. Did you pop that RS2 ARB on yet?

Yes mate as you'll put the camber out if you put new spring on.

My cars handling alot better now mate, just alot less comfy than on standard springs.

I'm giving it a 3 month trial if i dont like it i'm going back to standard spings on the Bilsteins.

Right after another 6 hours of hard slog i've had my car realligned at a Toyota garage where my mate works as a mechanic.

I can see why most places wont touch the job!

My car was totally out of spec, since i owned the car it's always pulled left and i could see why when we put it on the machine, the toe was all over the shop!

The tierods wouldn't move for toffee so ended up taking them off the car and using pentration oil, heat and some massive stilson to get then off, cleaned up and greased.

In answer to my original question when they do the S2 its as an Audi 80 Coupe Quattro and on there theres 2 setting for the suspension, sports and standard.

They give two different allignment specs.

When i got a four wheel alignment done they already had an S2 coupe in there computer system. The specs matched perfectly with the Bentley manual for my CQ20v.

This is what i brought with me, same as posted on S2Central,

    Front Wheel Alignment:

    Total toe in +10' +/- 10'

    Camber -50' +/- 30'

    Track angle @ 20 % lock:
    -1' +/- 30'

    Castor:
    Coupe +2"15' +/- 30'

    Rear Wheel Alignment:

    Total toe out +20' +/- 10'

    Camber -45" +/- 20'

My info came from an OFRM sourced on Erwin for the Avant & Sedan. I couldn't find anything S2 Coupe specific from Audi on this - just the Bentley manual for the CQ20V.

Paul's site only lists the Bentley spec for the 20v which uses different data from the S2. The info on my site was taken from the alignment machine output.

Have you got Erwin data for the Coupe. The only Erwin data I have is for the Avant / saloon.

S2Central looks correct to me, the difference is only a tiny bit more Toe on the front, the second numbers are the acceptable adjustment range, S2Central just has slightly tighter values for adjustment. You can ignore the second figures, just get the first as close as possible.

To be honest either is within the specs, most tracking centers aren’t that accurate anyway.

What is the correct spec for the S2?

MikeS2 and S2Central / Erwin have different specs listed.

I don't remember the recommendation for best 'toe' and 'caster' settings but I do know for sure that MORE NEGATIVE camber on the front wheels improves handling in the turns on any car regardless of FWD, RWD or 4WD.

Once you guys find the 4 wheel alignment shop...how are you setting up your cars?

It has been recomended to me to set it up with about 1.75-2.0 degrees of neg camber, 0 toe in front and back and max caster, which i do not think is adjustable on my car. Do you think that is a good setting for occasional street driving, and agressive track use?

It is my understanding that the more negitive camber you put in the better it turns. Has anyone tried a ton of negative camber?...Like 2.5 degrees?

quattro and S2 don't have caster adjustment. It can only be adjusted inadvertently setting camber and toe. The best machine for any German car is the Beissbarth (recommended and supplied by Audi), it has a proper listing for the S2 and all other Audis. You quite simply bring it up on the screen, then then reads your cars geometry and tells you graphically and numerically where to make the changes.
