Thanks Chaps. When you say standard settings do you mean the details on S2 Central or Mike's site as they differ?

I am running stock settings except -1.5 front camber. It hooks up really nicely. I can't run any more as I have no clearance on the steering arms. More castor is next on the list.... but not an easy one.

Will ( WabtheKing ) did mine using the std setting in the Beissbarth computer and it handles spot on

Most important thing is finding a garage that will take the time to get everything spot on rather than near enough. Oh and make sure all the adjusters are free'd off before you go.

Has anyone had their alignment done and can verify the best settings for the S2 coupe? Fast road with a little bit of track action

anyone requiring geo setup in the manchester area i have a beissbarth wheel alinement system. (camber/caster/toe)

charge £40per hour (forum/trade rate) if everything is free'd off can usually do all four wheels in and hour and a half.

obviously if everything is rusted soild it takes a little longer

    Regards
    Will

Anyone used these guys. been past them a few times in the avant and used them for my coupe setup (but I had a knackered wishbone which was the problem in the end) so I cant really comment. they did gove good service. What about price? On par?

Should I have this done after all the bones have had powerflex put in or just after new wheels have gone on

    Cheers

    Az

    hey guys,

ive been having some problems with my 2.6coupe over the past few months, last time it snowed real bad i ended up getting overly friendly with a curb and bent my wishbone. I promptly replaced it with a pressed one with a new ball joint, whilst i was there i did the same to both sides and also replaced the track rod ends and adjusters both sides too. I set the tracking right after but had no camber gauge until now. am i right in thinking that the camber adjustment is all in that bottom ball joint or are the nuts on the carrier excentric like on coilovers n such? I restore air cooled vw's for a living so im used to shims and torsion bars haha. any help would be great,

    cheers, Tom
