I ran the following setup on my 7A, stock springs and konis, then S2 ABY springs and konis, and now H&R's with konis.
Best alround setup was the S2 springs and Koni Shocks, very small height drop and slightly firmer. I find the H&R's a little too low, it dosent hit the ground on speed bumps or car parks but it does run out of suspension travel and hammer the bump stops.
For comfort the S2 springs and Konis also seem the best setup, gave much better suspension and body control but didnt crash and bang over bumps like the H&R's do.
I agree with Jamo stock shocks and firmer springs would give terrible road holding. Shocks are more important IMO.
