I have just been battling with my track rod ends, I had to gind the track rod of to try and recover the adjuster but it is so badly damaged I will try tracking down the Quinton Hazell part.

I can't wait to get the tracking sorted, I had the rear tracking adjsuted and the toe was incorrect. The car feels so much better now I can't wait to get the front tracking sorted. It has been out slightly since I had the car.

I bought new tie-rod assemblies the other week ready for my full alignment. I too made the point of taking them apart and full copper greasing them up.

After my alignment I also sprayed/coated the exposed threads and nuts with 'Zeta', a very effective anti-corrosion aluminium grease. (Though get it on your clothes and you'll have top throw them away!).

After a bit of ferreting I found this link: http://www.unicornchemicals.com/prod...n=OIL&type=cat

Second one down, but phook me I didn't know it was that expensive!
I managed to 'aquire' a can when I left my old job.

A good coat of copper grease would probably do the job just as well though.

Hmmmm, keep getting an error on the ECP website when searching today, but you can look the part number up there - dead easy.

I have just fitted (yesterday) the QH adjusters by themselves. Fantastic value! ÂŁ4 odd each with both nuts and tapered collars! Got them from the local Ford parts counter, they do all the QH stuff for other makes as well.

bump to an old thread - has anyone got any leads on these track rod adjusters?
Quinton Hazell are out of stock, i've tried 5 motor factors in Birmingham with no luck..

i'm at my wits end now with trying to get this f***ing car to go in a straight line and not rattle my teeth out

can anyone recommend any other parts distributors worth trying for the same part?
Or anyone know of a motor factor who stocks these i could try?
