Wheels wont make a difference if set to the correct tyre pressure, so the mech said when i had mine done at Lexus.

thanks mike but i think the settings are the same on s2-central!dont suppose someone could explain the setting to me for toe/camber as i have no idea what it all means and it would be nice to understand!I always thought that wheel aligenment was worked out in degrees???If someone could run me through the setting so when i go back to the garage i can quiz them to make sure they have done their job right!!!!!!!!!!!1
                thanks guys

Probably true on our road cars - but if there was any camber in the standard setup, a wider tyre (especially on a larger diameter wheel with lower profile rubber) would probably need less camber or else it would lose some of the effective footprint. The problem is, the change is probably too small to adjust for, and the real solution is to set a baseline and then go testing, see what happens. Generally we don't have time or money for that kind of thing, and it doesn't matter enough for road use - if it did matter that much we would need different setups for the wet and the dry!

The ball joint leg should slide inside the wishbone to provide the camber adjustment
