    No probs

OK Here are a few shots I took this afternoon of a proper race proven set-up: 997 RSR. This car completed the WEC in 2012

The pump is a lot bigger than you think. There is no oil cooling. I would need to check the wiring schematics but I believe this is a "dumb pump" as Des has explained.

Alex - thats brilliant - what a lovely clean install too - what is the purpose of the little reservoir bottle feeding into the top of the EPHS pump ?

If a full duck WEC car doesn't need cooling on the hydraulic fluid, then I certainly won't !

So is the Merc pump not worth it then?

I'm putting a 20vt into a different brand car and if I can use the merc pump to do the power steering I think I might go that way than have to mess around more with the audi pump tbh. I want to try keep as much of the stuff behind the front strut towers if possible.

I'm sure there was another member here who put a pug version on his avant and had the pump by the diff with lines running to the front?

Kiku Guys , what about remove old hydraulic pump and system include brake bomb and replace it with Opel Astra/ Zafira power steering pump? Only change brake booster (or keep them OEM) ? Any experience? Maybe i missing some point, but i really to take off that old hydraulic system and have more room for intake and other things on engine bay?
From what car is good to fit a vacuum brake booster?

not sure of the part numner, was from astra g I think. I will check.

No adaptors needed for the servo. only an extension for the rod to the brake pedal.
