If you're going for some super-stiff track springs then ARBs aren't going to do that much...

I looked into having some ARBs made and I just could not find a supplier over here...

Well looking at tarmac set up's on alot of cars they still use them so i am not going to argue and with M-sport etc.....

The rear build is very straight forward but has any one sorted somethinng for the front????

Heres a cozzy one from the WRC cars its as you would imagine straight forward.

Also the bar not being solid and only 2mm (depending on setting) wall thickness saves a truck load of weight the RS2 bar must be 15kg??

still on the todo list for me. I will probably go down the Sellholm route. Time nowdays is hard to find to experiment with these kind of things.

When I was designing a hollow bar, it was approx. half the weight but that was just the torsion section rather than the whole thing. More like 5kg but best off measuring one I guess.

They will allow for some tuning of the chassis but will have to be stiff to make much of a difference. Running a 28mm hollow bar would work well.

Well you could have 10 bars made up and ready to go they would cost very little to make and to fit would be a very quick change

It's not the design, that the easy part, it's the material and any heat treatement that is required that's where the skill comes in. Could do steel tube with arms, I was looking into a modular system some time ago but again, couldn't find a supplier. Could just get it made and see how it does...

I'll sort a design out and see where I get to, at least I have a welding fabricator now!

I'd be aiming to make something suitable for about £200 + £50/extra bar. Depends how you do the bushes I guess.

Just to close my pursuit up.

I brought two kits from Sellholm Sweden.

There is no way you can build something as good as they and offer as much adjustment. I think if you want these Blades and you are serious about making a S2 handle you have to bite the bullet and buy the real deal!
