Avant rear subframe bushes

[Tractor Dave]

Could anyone who has done the rear bushes on an Avant tell me if the four subframe bushes are all the same?

The part number for the genuine bush is apparently 8A0505145C

This is no longer available from VAG or TPS. The alternatives from Febi and lemforden seem to only list the rear front bushes under that part number.

Hey bud

did mine about 2-3 years ago and I can’t remember but I think they were 2 larger, 2 smaller. I can’t remember though. Piece of advice though, get poly ones and save yourself an absolute world of pain!!!
fitting the rear(?) ones caused so much hassle. They almost didn’t go in! Audi would do it but said the subframe was likely to bend in the process and wouldn’t take responsibility. A machine shop local to me laughed and said no. Local vag specialists near me said no. In the end me and my brother took ages doing them with all sorts of home made press type stuff and eventually got them in even though it took multiple attempts.

So again to reiterate - go poly or solid where the bushes are in 2 halves and save yourself an absolute world of pain, misery and heartache... not to mention time, skin, sweat, blood and tears!!!

(you my friend have been warned now

Agree with the above. Solid or poly.

Superflex are good

Indeed, I didnt know they now do rear b4/rs2/s2 bushes.

Ok, thanks for the advice (again). If Albert answers his PM, it's AK Motorsport bushes front and rear. Otherwise, Superflex!

He is a busy guy trying to run a business. Just buy them on his web shop

[Tractor Dave]

I thought that might be the case. I have already ordered some bits from him and they came very quickly.
